Chop and Chip Co was founded in 2013 by two close friends, Marcus and Fergus, who bonded over their passion for good food. Here's their story:
Fuelled by our desire to offer restaurant quality dishes on- the-go we set out to create a new and unique street food concept. Chop and Chip Co was born.
Chop and Chip Co's mission is to serve up delicious and tender meats to the masses with a uniquely blended range of dry seasonings. The menu allows you to build up your perfect meal with an exciting array of flavours to choose from and tasty sides to add if you're extra peckish.
We started our food journey in Big Bertha, an original 1972 Californian Airstream trailer which we painstakingly brought back to life from a nearly worn out state. We can still be found up and down the country at various outdoor events serving with pride from the now gleaming and fully fitted trailer.
Bertha will always have an influence in everything we do and you will always see hints of her wherever we go.
All our food is designed for ease of eating so no need for knives and forks, everything can be picked up.
Each dish is served with a choice of dry seasoning, which has been selected and blended to offer a tantalising flavour sensation. For the less adventurous there is ‘Begginers Luck’ or ‘A Bit of a Kick’. Others may make their way up to a ‘Lip Tingler’ depending on how spicy they're feeling!
